EU-Canada Study Tour – “Thinking Canada”

All applications must be sent via e-mail to the appropriate address, as explained below, by the application deadline – Wednesday 18 May 2011.

In the first stage, applications will be ranked by Canadian Studies associations (national or regional) in Europe. • Central Europe (Bulgaria, Czech Republic, Hungary, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia) – This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it

• German-speaking countries (Germany and Austria) – This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it

EU applicants whose home countries are not included in the above list should send their applications to This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it . This affects students from the following countries:

• Cyprus
• Estonia
• Greece
• Latvia
• Lithuania
• Luxembourg
• Malta
• Portugal

You need JavaScript enabled to view it ) also applies for applicants from a limited group of countries outside the European Union, who may wish to participate in the tour, but under the condition that they pay the full cost (2,750 EUR):

NOTE: Please ensure that your academic supervisor sends his/her letter of recommendation to the appropriate e-mail address(es), as listed above, by the application deadline.

The final selection of participants will be made by the four-member EU-Canada Study Tour Selection Committee, which will take into consideration geographical spread, range of disciplines and gender. A reserve list will also be prepared.
